When I create, I put my soul on canvas, and that feels marvelous to me. But that's not enough to really satisfy me. I don't feel complete until I have shared that child of my imagination with the rest of the world. I need to believe my artwork has added a delightful new dimension to the platter of life; that special excitement we all anticipate for dessert. My art is decorative. It is meant to please. There is no deep meaning in it or a protest against social injustice. On the contrary, it is a celebration of life and all it offers us. Each painting is my own personal thanksgiving for the bounty so freely given to us all. - Lynn Ruth Miller
